AgVantage UK Ltd has strengthened its specialist root crop machinery offering following its appointment as an authorised SCANSTONE dealer for Yorkshire.

The new partnership sees AgVantage supplying, servicing and supporting the complete range of SCANSTONE machinery, giving potato and vegetable growers across the region access to one of the industry's leading manufacturers of specialist soil preparation and root crop harvesting equipment.

Available from AgVantage's Beverley depot, the SCANSTONE range includes destoners, bed formers, bed tillers, windrowers and toppers, all designed to help growers create optimum seedbeds, improve soil conditions and maximise crop quality and operational efficiency. To support the new franchise, AgVantage's experienced sales, parts and service teams are undertaking dedicated product training, while key replacement parts will be stocked locally to ensure customers receive the high level of backup and support the business is known for.

AgVantage will be backed by the existing SCANSTONE Brigg parts and service team, comprising of Steve Cooper, Karl Gladding, and Stephen Hesleden. Working closely together, the two teams will provide customers with an enhanced level of technical knowledge,  parts availability, and service support across the region.

Andy Carse, Managing Director of AgVantage UK Ltd, said: "We're proud to be partnering with SCANSTONE and adding another premium brand to our growing portfolio. Their reputation for
manufacturing high-quality, dependable root crop machinery is well established, and we believe the range is an excellent fit for growers across Yorkshire. Our focus has always been on supplying market-leading machinery backed by first-class aftersales support. SCANSTONE complements
our existing product portfolio perfectly, and we're looking forward to introducing the range to both existing and new customers while providing the level of service they have come to expect from AgVantage."

Gary Halliday, Territory Sales Manager for Yorkshire, added: "SCANSTONE has built an excellent reputation within the root crop sector for producing machinery that is robust, reliable and capable of delivering outstanding results in the field. Having spent time with the range, it's clear that every machine has been designed with the needs of professional growers in mind. I'm looking forward to demonstrating the equipment across Yorkshire and helping customers identify the right solutions for their businesses. I'm confident they'll be impressed by both the quality of the machines and the support AgVantage can offer behind them."

The appointment further reinforces AgVantage's commitment to supporting the potato and vegetable sectors with specialist machinery and expert local backup. Demonstration machines will be arriving in the coming weeks, giving growers the opportunity to see the equipment working in field conditions next season.
