Service Technician – Cambridgeshire Depot

We’re currently looking for an experienced Agricultural Service Technician to join the AgVantage team based in Cambridgeshire on a full time basis. Working for AgVantage UK Ltd, you’ll be part of a highly driven team and share our ambition of becoming the best supplier within our field.

You’ll be responsible for

• Attending breakdowns within our territory
• Machinery fault finding on site and resolving the problem in a timely manner
• Overhauls and repairs to machinery within our workshop
• Reporting faults to relevant parties
• Carrying out the service and maintenance of agricultural machinery
• Replacing parts and working closely with our Parts Department to ensure delivery
• Completing job cards and warranty / maintenance paperwork to a high standard

We’ll expect you to

• Have a sound technical understanding of root crop equipment and agricultural machinery in general
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
• Be driven and committed to the success of the business
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Be able to work on your own initiative as well as in a team environment
• Have a clean UK driving licence and be willing to travel
• Be flexible with regards to working seasonal overtime and some unsociable hours
• Have sound time management and administration skills
